Lisa Moore and Don Byron Release New EP, To Appear on WNYC & at LPR

On December 15th, Cantaloupe will release Seven, a digital EP featuring music composed by Don Byron for Lisa Moore. The 20-minute EP consists of 10 tracks, featuring Byron's Seven Etudes (a 2009 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Music) , Himm, Hyde Park, and Basquiat. Physical copies of the EP will be available only at the Bang on a Can Store. Digital copies will be available at iTunes, eMusic, and Amazon.
To help publicize Seven's release, Lisa and Don will be appearing on WNYC's Soundcheck with John Schaefer on December 22nd. The show airs at 2 pm Eastern Standard Time, with a re-broadcast at 10 pm. WNYC can be streamed online through their website; if you prefer the old-fashioned way, you can tune in at 93.9 FM.

A little less than two weeks following their radio appearance, Lisa and Don (with his Don Byron Quartet) will perform Seven at Le Poisson Rouge on January 3rd. So come ring in the New Year with us!
