Florent Ghys performs at MATA Festival, May 11

On Wednesday, May 11, French composer and performer Florent Ghys, will be rocking out on upright bass and various electronics, as he takes part in the 2011 MATA Festival in a concert entitled Responsible Parties: Young Composer/Performers. Fellow composers include Corey Dargel, DITHER, Cantori NY, Chris Danforth and the Danforths, all of whom will be performing their own pieces. This concert will be hosted by Nadia Sorota of WQXR's Q2 at the illustrious West Village hotspot, le poisson rouge.
