Flautist Lina Andonovska’s solo concert is a brilliant display of sound and video. Quentin Tarantino’s films Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill blend together and offer inspiration for Nicole Lizée’s glitch piece. Within the glitch aesthetic, purposeful mechanical and digital ‘errors’ lend new artistic dimensions. During this concert, which makes the most of electronics and innovative audio manipulation, the audience will also be treated to the premiere performance of Donnacha Dennehy’s new piece.
